Today I’m here with a quick stretching tip that has made a huge difference for me.
Talking about opposition again today and applying that to your foot in hand stretch can help you get higher extensions faster and build the right muscles to hold your leg up correctly.
By actively pushing your foot and whole leg up into your hand while creating counter pressure with your hand you can feel the space in your hip that you want to lengthen out from. As you let go you want to continue to feel like your are pushing your foot and whole leg out into the air with as much pressure as if you were still pushing against your hand. This should help you find the length and eventually the strength needed to properly extend your leg out to the side.
