I am just a girl. I love ballet, all things health, and most of all people. I am on a journey to be continually better, and to share and discuss along the way. Join me while we talk all things dance and wellness.
I came to ballet at the late age of 14, but quickly fell in love and got down to business. Through intense study, and the graciousness of many amazing people, I was able to start dancing professionally at the age of 19. While my on stage career was fairly brief, ballet continues to be at the forefront of my heart and mind as I teach, choreograph, and dance on the side. People are my primary passion, and I have had the privilege of being involved in the lives of many bright, talented artists. As anyone who has taught a ballet class knows, there is only so much you can fit in an hour and half, and so much left to say.
I’ve started this blog to be a link between something I wish I would’ve had in my days of training, and I hope for it to be a place to find balance, for dancers, teachers, parents, and anyone with a dancer’s soul. Whether you have taken one class or thousands, performed for hundreds or only danced in your dreams, I am so glad we found each other. I’d love to hear more about you.
